Spartacus Legends is an upcoming free-to-play fighting game based on the Starz TV Series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Developed by Kung Fu Factory and published by Ubisoft, the game charts the fortunes of a Lanista, a man who purchases slaves and moulds them into gladiators.
The player takes on the role of both the Lanista and his gladiators in battle and must purchase, train, and arm a “stable” of warriors before pitting them against opponents in the arena. As the story unfolds, the player can take on increasingly tougher foes and reap the rewards that come with victory. The goal is to become as famous and prestigious as possible, while maintaining both your training school and its fighters within.
Spartacus Legends will be released on the Playstation Network on June 25 in North & South America and worldwide on Xbox Live Arcade on June 26, 2013.
