This afternoon Nintendo showed off a brand new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, confirmed a rough release date and revealed a host of new and exciting features.
The game is set to feature full HD visuals rendered at 1080p and utilises shaders to improve character expression and refine texture graphics.
Several new features have been added to the game, including the ability to speed up Link’s ship, allowing exploration to be faster and more dynamic than before.
Assisted play will also be making its return in Wind Waker HD in the form on the Tingle Tuner. Using Miiverse players can post messages, which can put into bottles and cast into the sea. These comments and screenshots will wash up on the shores of other player’s games, allowing hints, warning and photos to be shared within the community.
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD is set to arrive on the Wii U in October, 2013.
