Yesterday Konami teased that the identity of the actor who will be replacing David Hayter as the new voice of Metal Gear’s Snake, would be revealed at their Pre-E3 show on June 6.
Kojima Productions’ bizarre decision to let Hayter go has not been a popular one with their fan-base, many of whom have been campaigning for the much-loved voice actor to reprise his role for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
However there might still be hope; a recent suggestive tweet could be hinting at his possible return:
I’m so excited for E3! I just hope I don’t lose my voice. 😉

Is this another elaborate deception from Metal Gear creator and first class troll, Hideo Kojima, or was Hayter simply making a self-deprecating joke? Either way we probably won’t know until Konami’s Pre-E3 show on June 6, but we here at Analog Addiction are definitely keeping our fingers crossed.
