This morning publisher Deep Silver released the first episode in a three part Survival Guide for the upcoming post-apocalyptic first-person shooter, Metro: Last Light.
Entitled ‘The World of Metro’, this inaugural instalment prepares players for their service in the Spartan Order, the self-proclaimed protectors of the Metro.
Introducing would-be Rangers to the perils that await them within the dilapidated city of Moscow, the guide showcases the deep dark tunnels of the underground as well as the scorched desolate wasteland above and the treacherous transition levels that lie in-between.
Each zone harbours its own deadly hazards such as hostile humans from warring factions, terrifying mutant abominations or even the extreme toxicity of the environments themselves.
Metro: Last Light will be available May 14th in North America, May 16th in Australia and May 17th in Europe for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.
